Pre-owned Cattelan Italia round glass dining table with sculptural walnut-effect base in Monaco

Cattelan Italia Resale Prices: Pre-Owned Tables & Chairs (2026)

Across Europe, a used Cattelan Italia Skorpio dining table is being offered at a median of €1,750 (13 listings, €1,000 to €2,500), and used Cattelan dining tables of all kinds ask a median of €1,499 (29 listings). Used Cattelan dining chairs ask a median of €199 a chair (17 listings). Named models with Keramik tops ask the most, while unnamed glass tables ask a median of €659.50. These are asking prices, not sales.

Key figures

  • Used Skorpio dining tables asked a median of €1,750 across 13 European listings (€1,000 to €2,500, early October 2026); a new Skorpio starts from €1,940.31 at an Italian retailer for the smallest 160 x 90 cm glass version.
  • Used Cattelan tables with a Keramik top (Skorpio, Eliot and Tyron) asked a median of €2,150 (3 listings).
  • Unnamed Cattelan glass dining tables asked a median of €659.50 (8 listings, €390 to €1,400).
  • Used Cattelan dining chairs asked a median of €199 a chair (17 listings, about €58 to €475 a chair); a new Lara chair starts from €435.52 at an Italian retailer.
  • Meubles Monaco has listed 374 pre-owned designer pieces since March 2025, and 64% of completed sales across all brands went through at the full asking price.

What is used Cattelan Italia worth?

46 used Cattelan Italia listings on four European resale sites, early October 2026:

Model or category Listings Median asking price Asking range New from (retailer)
Skorpio dining table 13 €1,750 €1,000–€2,500 €1,940.31 (160 x 90 cm, glass)
Keramik-top tables (Skorpio, Eliot, Tyron) 3 €2,150 €1,750–€2,600 €3,552.78 (Skorpio Keramik, Ø 140 cm)
Other named tables (Ray, Valentino, Eliot Wood, Gordon, Spyder Wood) 6 €1,499.50 €999–€3,899 –
Unnamed glass dining tables 8 €659.50 €390–€1,400 –
All dining tables 29 €1,499 €390–€3,899 –
Dining chairs (price per chair) 17 €199 €58–€475 €435.52 (Lara)

New prices are "from" prices at Italian retailers for the entry size and finish. Many used Skorpios are the larger 240 x 120 cm version, which costs more new, so compare like with like. Chair prices are the set price divided by the number of chairs.

Skorpio: the table that defines the resale market

Skorpio, with its sculpted metal base under a glass, Keramik or wood top, made up 13 of the 29 used Cattelan tables we tracked. Asking prices ran from €1,000 to €2,500, and the middle of the range was tight: ten of the 13 asked between €1,100 and €2,000. Three 240 x 120 cm tables asked €1,300, €1,800 and €1,800, and a Skorpio with a Keramik top asked €1,750, 49% of the €3,552.78 starting price of a new Skorpio Keramik. An oak-topped Skorpio in Germany asked €1,500.

We left out a Skorpio advertised as new and still boxed (€1,600), a 240 x 120 cm table described as ex-display (€2,500), and a Skorpio sold with six Isabel chairs (€2,500), because none is a like-for-like used table.

Keramik, Gordon, Eliot and the other named tables

Keramik tops. Cattelan's ceramic-stone tops ask more than plain glass. An extendable Eliot Keramik (182 to 258 cm) asked €2,150 with a working extension mechanism, and a shaped Tyron Keramik of 200 x 120 cm, described as like new, asked €2,600. One ceramic Rado table from a Dutch outlet asked €3,475 against a stated new price of €5,348 (65%); we kept it out of the figures because it was a showroom model.

Gordon (limited data). We found one used Gordon, with a natural-stone top, at €2,089 from a German dealer. New Gordon Deep Wood tables, with a thick walnut top, start from €6,124 at one Italian retailer and cost €6,889 in 240 x 120 cm at a German retailer, so a used Deep Wood should ask well above a glass or stone Gordon.

Atlantis. We found no used Atlantis listings with a price in early October 2026, so we give no figure.

Other models. Two Ray tables asked €999 and €1,499, a Valentino glass table €1,000, an Eliot Wood Drive €1,500 from a dealer (reduced from €2,500), and a 240 x 120 cm Spyder Wood €3,899 from a dealer.

Unnamed glass tables. Eight listings described only as a "Cattelan glass table" asked €390 to €1,400. Without a model name, buyers treat them as good glass tables rather than as Skorpios, and price them that way.

Dining chairs

Chairs are usually sold in sets of four to six. Per chair, the 17 listings ran from about €58 to €475, with a median of €199. Lara chairs asked €125 a chair for six in dark brown and €200 a chair for four in bordeaux, against €435.52 for a new Lara at an Italian retailer, which sells them in sets of four. A set of four Anna B chairs asked €400 a chair; the seller stated a new price of about €700 to €900 a chair. Chairs without a model name asked the least.

Cattelan Italia on Meubles Monaco

Two Cattelan Italia listings are live with us in Monaco. A round 160 cm table with a clear glass top on a sculptural walnut-effect base, graded excellent from the seller's photographs, asks €1,500, 32% of the seller-reported original price of €4,755. A set of eight Lara dining chairs in purple leather, in good condition with minor wear, asks €100 a chair, or €700 for all eight. See them in our Cattelan Italia collection.

What drives Cattelan resale value on the Riviera

  • Model name. A Skorpio, Gordon or Eliot is searched for by name; an unnamed glass table asked a median of €659.50 in our data, against €1,750 for a Skorpio.
  • Glass condition. Chips on the edge or corners, scratches across the top and cloudy marks lower the price quickly. Photograph the edges in daylight and say plainly if there is any damage.
  • Keramik condition. Ceramic-stone tops are hard-wearing, but a chipped edge or corner is hard to repair. Run a finger along the edge and photograph any chip.
  • Extension mechanisms. On extendable tables such as Eliot, the mechanism matters as much as the top. Say whether it runs smoothly, whether all leaves are present and how long the table is open and closed.
  • Base finish. Bronze, graphite and brushed finishes can rub or scratch where feet and chairs touch; mention any marks.
  • Size and weight. A 240 x 120 cm glass top is heavy and needs at least two people and careful handling. Give exact dimensions and say whether the top lifts off the base; many Monaco buildings have small lifts.
  • Complete sets. Chairs sell better in matching sets of four or more; a table with matching chairs is easier to sell together, but price each part.

What to look for: labels and marks

We do not authenticate furniture, and nor can a photograph. What we do is ask sellers for clear pictures of anything that identifies the maker, and we suggest buyers check the same things at the viewing:

  • Maker's label. Look under the top, on the base or under a chair seat for a Cattelan Italia label or sticker.
  • Paperwork. An invoice or order from a retailer names the model, size and finish, which is the best support for both price and identity.
  • Glass. Ask whether the glass is the original top and check for chips, especially at the corners.
  • Wording. "Style", "type" or "like Cattelan" means it is not one. See how to know if designer furniture is real.

Pricing advice for sellers

For a Skorpio in good condition, most European listings sit between €1,100 and €2,000; a large 240 x 120 cm top or a Keramik top supports the upper end, chips or a worn base the lower end. For an unnamed glass table, a few hundred euros is realistic unless you can show the model. Price chairs per chair and as a set: in our data, named chairs such as Lara, Margot and Anna B asked €125 to €475 a chair.

Remember that these are asking prices. Across all brands on Meubles Monaco, the median asking price is 34.5% of the seller's reported original price, 64% of completed sales went through at full asking price, the average reduction when buyers negotiated was 21%, and the median time from listing to sale was 66 days. Your piece stays in your home. We grade the listing from your photographs and description, and a Riviera buyer who reserves online for €25 is introduced to you to arrange a viewing. Listing starts from €25, and after our 15% commission you keep 85% of the sale price. Advice for buyers

Ask for the model name, size and top material, and compare with the figures above. At the viewing, check every edge of the glass or Keramik top, open and close any extension, rock the table to check the base, and look under the top for a label. Pieces stay in the seller's home: you reserve online for €25 and we introduce you to the seller to arrange a viewing. At the viewing, if you decide to go ahead, we send you a payment link to complete the purchase, or you can pay by bank transfer for pieces over €1,500; the piece is paid in full before you take it away. We grade listings from photos and descriptions (how we grade our furniture) but do not examine pieces in person. We do not deliver, but we can recommend trusted local transport partners, which matters for a heavy glass top. Looking for a particular model? Tell us on find designer furniture. How we calculated these figures

European market. In early October 2026 we collected 46 used Cattelan Italia listings from four resale sites: Subito (23), Kleinanzeigen (19), Marktplaats (2) and 2ememain (2), with sellers in Italy, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. We excluded new, boxed or ex-display stock, showroom models, tables sold with chairs, replicas and "style" pieces, items of unclear attribution, coffee and side tables, and probable duplicate listings (counted once). Figures are asking prices as displayed, including reduced prices. Chair prices are the set price divided by the number of chairs, rounded to the euro in the table. The Skorpio Keramik appears in both the Skorpio and Keramik rows. Models with fewer than three listings are marked as limited data. New prices are "from" prices at Italian and German retailers (Diotti, Mohd and dieter horn) in October 2026. All prices were in euros, so no currency conversion was needed. We re-opened 10 of the listings (about 20%) to confirm price and description before publishing.

Meubles Monaco. Listings from March 2025 and completed sales from April 2025 to early October 2026: 374 listings, of which 264 had a reported original price (median asking 34.5% of it); 39 completed sales, 31 with an original price (median 31% of it); 64% of completed sales across all brands at full asking price; 21% average reduction when negotiated; median 66 days to sell (37 sales with dates). Asking prices include our 15% commission. Original prices are reported by sellers and not independently checked. See also our Riviera designer resale report 2026.
