Across all brands on Meubles Monaco, 64% of completed sales have gone at the full asking price.

• Used BoConcept in Belgium, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands asked a median of €992 (62 listings), from €180 for six Adelaide chairs to €5,999 for an ex-showroom Bergamo sofa.
• Listings that stated a new price asked a median of 58% of it (23 listings), but 15 of those came from a German refurbishing dealer quoting its own original RRP; the other 8 had a median of 50%.

Carmo, Osaka, Imola and Bergamo compared with new

Some dealer and ex-showroom prices sit close to new. A refurbished blue Osaka corner sofa at revive.de asked €3,499, above the €3,399 starting price for a new Osaka corner sofa, and an ex-showroom Bergamo with round lounging unit asked €5,999 on Whoppah, against €8,139 regular and €5,499 on sale new in Ireland.

Other sellers price lower. Three Imola armchairs on Marktplaats and Whoppah asked €995 to €1,095, roughly a quarter of the €4,099 regular price of a new leather Imola swivel armchair (some of the used chairs are fabric). An Osaka sofa on eBay.de asked €600, and Carmo sofas outside the dealer asked €380 to €2,900. A Fermo sideboard on Whoppah asked €1,199, 65% of the €1,849 new price its seller stated; boconcept.com France lists the comparable two-door Fermo buffet at €1,419.

Excluded: US-dollar prices, items marked new, auctions starting at €1 or €2 and eBay items without a BoConcept model name. Prices are asking prices. New prices are regular (non-promotional) prices on boconcept.com France, Belgium and Ireland for the configuration stated, which may differ from the used piece; 23 listings also stated a new price, 15 of them revive.de's own "original RRP". Across the eight brands we track: 492 used listings on 11 resale sites in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and the UK; 109 stated a new price, median asking 43% of it.
