Minotti resale prices on the Riviera: what used Minotti is worth
Across Europe, used Minotti is being offered at a median of 36% of its stated new price, and Minotti listings marked sold on Deesup had a median last listed price of about €2,500. The practical takeaway: price from what comparable pieces sell for, not from dealer asking prices, which run well ahead. On Meubles Monaco, 64% of completed sales across all brands have gone at full asking price.

What is a used Minotti sofa worth?
64 used Minotti listings on five European resale sites, plus 22 marked sold on Deesup, October 2026:
| Model or category | Listings | Prices | Median | New-price reference |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| All sofas and armchairs (asking) | 48 | €499 to €14,999 | €4,299 | – |
| Hamilton sofas and sets (asking) | 14 | €2,750 to €12,498 | €6,365 | From €6,425, base configuration |
| Hamilton, marked sold on Deesup (last listed price) | 7 | €1,200 to €5,000 | €2,900 | – |
| Aston armchairs and sofa (asking) | 4 | €700 to €1,500 | €952 | – |
| Tables (asking) | 9 | €470 to €16,500 | €1,750 | – |
| All Minotti marked sold on Deesup (last listed price) | 22 | €450 to €7,935 | €2,500 | – |
The gap between asking and marked-sold figures is the most useful signal for a seller. Part of the asking side is large corner compositions from German dealers, and a last listed price may differ from what the buyer paid, but the 17 Minotti sofas and armchairs marked sold on Deesup had last been listed at a median of about €2,800.
Hamilton, Andersen and the Dordoni sofas
Hamilton. Rodolfo Dordoni's modular sofa is the most-listed Minotti model. Sofas alone asked €3,000 to €12,080, the top end being large four-seat and corner sofas from German sellers. One European online retailer lists a new Hamilton from €6,425 for its base configuration; larger compositions cost several times that, and sellers' stated new prices ran from €5,600 to €24,000. A 280 cm Hamilton asked €3,000 (54% of its stated new price) and a 315 x 265 cm corner composition €8,137 (36%).
Andersen. On Deesup, an Andersen marked sold had last been listed at €7,935 and an Andersen Slim at €3,000. A reupholstered two-seat Andersen asked €3,250, 34% of its stated €9,500 new price; a new three-seat Andersen starts at about €9,098.
Ex-showroom pieces. Three of the ten highest asking prices were former showroom or display pieces. The two stating a new price, an Alexander corner sofa (€11,000) and a Yang bed set (€19,870), asked 48% and 56% of it.

What drives Minotti resale value on the Riviera
- Model name: Hamilton, Andersen, Morrison and Spencer are searched for by name; an unnamed "Minotti sofa" is harder to price.
- Configuration: list every module, cushion and ottoman. A layout that suits a Riviera apartment sells more easily than a very large corner sofa.
- Upholstery and finishes: clean fabric or leather comes first; lacquer, stone and glass show chips clearly, so photograph them in daylight.
- Size, lifts and paperwork: give exact dimensions and whether the piece dismantles; an invoice supports the original price you report.
- Reupholstery: reupholstered Hamilton and Andersen sofas asked €4,900 and €3,250; new covers help a worn frame sell, but buyers still price from model and size.
Pricing advice for sellers
For a used Minotti sofa in good condition, around a third of the original price is a realistic start: it matches the European median (36%) and is close to the 34.5% median asking price across all brands on Meubles Monaco (measured against seller-reported originals rather than stated new prices). For a Hamilton, listings marked sold on Deesup point to the low-to-mid thousands of euros depending on size. Ex-showroom or nearly new pieces can justify more.

How we calculated these figures
European market: 64 used Minotti listings on Whoppah (24), revive.de (15), Deesup (13), eBay.de (7) and Selency (5), seen in early October 2026, excluding 1950s vintage pieces, items described as new, probable cross-listings and unclear attributions. Ten stated a new price (nine on Whoppah; three approximate), median 36%, range 20% to 103%. "Marked sold" figures are the last listed price on 22 Deesup listings marked sold and may differ from the final sale price. Current new prices are base-configuration starting prices from a European online retailer (Ciat Design). Across the eight brands we track: 492 used listings on 11 resale sites in six countries; the 109 stating a new price asked a median of 43% of it.
